Dead programs, expired deadlines, pay-to-apply traps — most "grants for women" lists are copied from each other and never checked again. We started from 60+ database listings, threw out the duplicates and the junk, and verified every application link that survived.

Partner grants have included Visa, Neutrogena, Botox Cosmetic, Unilever (Caress), Diageo (Johnnie Walker), adidas, and American Express programs. Universal Funding and Grant Application (UFGA) now powered by Honeycomb Credit, which acquired IFundWomen in April 2025. Confirmed via search still active; partner grant funding typically ranges $2,500–$25,000, ongoing rolling deadline. Confirmed Honeycomb Credit's April 2025 acquisition is real and completed; brand now operates as "IFW by Honeycomb Credit," founder Karen Cahn joined Honeycomb's board as advisor. Universal Grant Application model still described as active on IFW's own coaching subdomain (coaching.ifundwomen.com/grants). Most directories hide their misses. Ours are the point — these appear on other grant lists right now, and they shouldn't.

Charges an application fee. Charges a $15 non-refundable application fee (fee waiver available on request, but a fee is still required by default). Excluded per editorial policy: never list grants that charge to apply.

How we verify

  1. Every link gets opened. Not found in a database — actually requested, followed through redirects, confirmed alive.
  2. Canonical sources only. We link the funder's own page, never an aggregator's rewrite of it.
  3. No pay-to-apply. A grant that charges an application fee is not listed, whatever it promises.
  4. Dead programs get pulled. Ended initiatives are moved to the cut list, not left up for clicks.
  5. Dated stamps. Every listing shows the day its link was last verified. If a stamp looks old, hold us to it.
